The Village

A charming neighborhood in Claremont, CA, featuring restaurants, boutiques, shops, a movie theater, City Hall, the Claremont Post Office, the Claremont Library, and the Metrolink Station.

Welcome to the Village

Tucked in the heart of Claremont lies the charming and robust neighborhood and commercial haven known as The Village. Commonly accepted as the area south of Foothill, East of Mountain Avenue, and as far south as the train tracks, The Village is Claremont’s most frequented destination for tourists and locals alike. Our Downtown Village is comprised of fantastic restaurants, unique boutiques, salons, shops, a boutique movie theater, and so much more. It is also the home to City Hall, the Claremont Post Office, the Claremont Library, and the Metrolink Station.

The streets are abundant with trees, and seemingly more often than not, live music can be heard at various times in the day. It is no wonder then, that the surrounding residential neighborhood, is the most sought-after neighborhood in Claremont real estate. Homes here are all unique, with the majority having been built between the early 1900’s – 1940’s. In the early 2,000’s, the Village took on an expansion just west of the Old Downtown. In this expansion, a development of lofts and townhomes were built, and named Village Walk. These modern spaces quickly became the new “trendy” place to live, with convenient “walk-ability” to all the new restaurants, shops, and theater that came along with the expansion.
